Simplify navigation and improve the discoverability of new services and products in an appealing way for our new and current customers.
Design Sprint as starting point
We did a one-week design sprint addressing the challenge: how might we evolve the website to simplify the discoverability of new services and content on the web.
Define new Principles for the web
We defined design principles for the redesign and planned the roadmap of what to change in the short and long term.
Validate the new direction with users
I helped the team validate ideas and different directions by testing prototypes of new webdesign.
Over the years, I’ve been continuously improving the Vodafone website and evolving its design to meet modern standards of usability, accessibility, and performance. I defined core principles and strategy to guide the design team and contributed to the development of components within the design system—supporting long-term scalability and consistency across the web experience.

I prepared a deep-dive data analysis on how our customers behave on the Vodafone website to help us make informed decisions throughout the design process. I also focused on improving mobile usability.
I started with an understanding of the current content on the website from the user's perspective.
With the content strategy in mind, I established simplified navigation and an overall information architecture overhaul.
New Navigation
During the first redesign, I decided to radically simplify the navigation and focus on redesigning the most important pages first. After many content changes were made over the years, I then introduced a new Mega Navigation to help users find relevant offers and pages more easily.
Mobile First
From the beginning of the project, I knew from data that we needed to focus intensively on the neglected mobile version. Implemented changes, such as more reachable navigation, had a major impact on the mobile experience.
Principles & Guidelines
I prepared principles for other designers and stakeholders working on the website. Most of them aimed at creating consistent, usable, and simple interfaces. When necessary, I stood up for those principles so they wouldn’t be ignored.
100+ pages
I designed many marketing landing pages and other types of content across the site. Because of the Design System initiative I started, I created a Page Builder in Figma to help us work more efficiently. I made a huge impact on the UI/UX strategy of the website over the years.
