Project Overview
Alza is one of the bigger shopping platforms in central Europe. In Czech and Slovak markets is the number one with a strong retail presence (not just an online shop).

We were constantly improving the mobile shopping experience & interactions with a strong focus on conversion optimization (CRO) and increase of mobile app engagement and retention.
My Contributions
Throughout the 5 years, I was the leading designer on mobile platforms and helped the team to improve customer experience.

Except for the continuous improvements of the checkout process I was leading the redesign of the mobile adaptive version and redesign to fresh new Material Design (v1) on Android.

I also worked on unique features like In-Store pick-up when customers can press a button in the app to get their purchase via notifications or concepts of AR shopping and visual search.
As Mobile Experience Designer who worked for 5 years at Alza I defined together with Mobile Developers team the experience for a shopping platform for customers on mobile - a native Android & iOS app as well as an adaptive mobile version of the website in the browser.

Our focus was mainly on polishing existing features with a focus on optimizing conversion rates and user retention. We conduct a lot of activities how to encourage the users from the website to the apps.I was on a day-to-day basis in contact with developers and user feedback.

My main responsibility was to deliver improvements in a real product. That means that I was also heavily involved in UI tasks definition & planning as well as the QA process.
